The CUHSO journal is edited by the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities at the Catholic University of Temuco. It receives unpublished articles in Spanish, English, French, Mapudungun and Portuguese within various fields of the social sciences and humanities, with a special emphasis on contemporary issues and the historical processes of societies characterised by their sociocultural diversity and the tensions that are produced as a result of inequalities and colonial heritage. CUHSO is a biannual publication for specialists in the social and human sciences, undergraduate and postgraduate students and researchers from related disciplines. This journal adheres to the open access principles as defined by the Budapest Open Access Initiative(BOAI).
