The journal Antropologías del Sur is a biannual publication (June - December) of Anthropology School in Universidad Academia de Humanismo Cristiano (UAHC), Chile. It is a space for academic exchange and dissemination of the research results both theoretical and field research, from a disciplinary and transdisciplinary perspective. The journal privileges contributions that with a critical approach addressing questions directly related to sociocultural issues. Antropologías del Sur receives original contributions for the Articles section, and collaborations for the sections Reviews, Essays and Translations. The journal is open to researchers from the fields of anthropology, and the social sciences and humanities in general. In line with what anthropology has been since its inception, the journal intends to serve as a bridge to an open dialogue between different fields of knowledge for the understanding of the varied dimensions of humanity and human society.
