Resumen
VALENZUELA, Miguel Ángel. Painted Poetry In The City: A Proposal For Generic Identification. Logos [online]. 2016, vol.26, n.2, pp.197-216. ISSN 0716-7520.
Intervening the city -either by means of collectives or unknown passers-by- with artistic-creative purposes is a common practice in the urban space. Manifestations, both iconic or verbal, raise controversy when referring to them, as the status of what is artistic or literary is often debatable. Considering ludic-and-textual-typed manifestation murals, we propose a taxonomy based on the Jean-Marie Schaeffer’ s analogic logic, taking as a reference three valid representations of what is considered here as pintadas poéticas. Based on the definition of structural necessities, this work helps to understand the conceptual ambiguity of such definitions as well as to revitalize the discussion over the urban space, virtual space, subversion and artistic institution.
