The objective of this work was to explore how smart contracts can be a tool to facilitate and speed up the enforceability and execution of commercial transaction agreements derived from international mediation. The methodology used was the evaluation of the current state of international mediation and examines the peculiarities of smart contracts. The conclusion reached is that despite the many challenges that smart contracts currently have, their unique characteristics, such as decentralization, autonomy, immutability and automatic execution, make it possible to significantly reduce non-compliance with transaction agreements. derived from international mediation.
