The current Chilean situation promotes inclusive education within the framework of policies rooted in values of competence and efficiency. We looked at daily practices focusing on school spaces other than the classroom. From an educational, inclusive and semiotic perspective of the school we asked ourselves: How is it that school spaces become educational from the perspective of those who inhabit them? We explore the ways of living and bonding of educational agents in school spaces beyond the classroom, in two public schools in Viña del Mar. With a qualitative approach and a multiple case study design, we collected data with ethnographic techniques and analyzed it using the Spatial Justice concept. The findings indicate that disengaged students and non-professional assistants meet and recognize each other in a hallway education, that although considered accessory, has an educational and inclusive sense.
