The purpose of this article is to argue the role of the autobiographical narrative inquiry as part of the education of teacher educators for social justice. We approach the concept of teacher education for social justice from a theoretical and political point of view as a way to give a framework to the article in general. To exemplify the central argument of the text, we take two autobiographical narrative inquiries carried out by us as authors. We are both teacher educators from Chile and Honduras and, as such, we show part of our process with this new methodology. Finally, we discuss the possibilities and difficulties of the autobiographical narrative inquiry.
