BEDOYA-DORADO, Cristian  e  MACA-URBANO, Deidi. Sugarcane employment: Daily precariousness or precariousness of daily life?. Psicoperspectivas [online]. 2020, vol.19, n.3, pp.120-130.  Epub 15-Nov-2020. ISSN 0718-6924.  http://dx.doi.org/10.5027/psicoperspectivas-vol19-issue3-fulltext-2061.

Precariousness constitutes an experience of uncertainty and exposure to danger, which encompasses the entire existence of bodies and modes of subjectivation. This condition supposes an everyday life, that is to say, a way of living with the unpredictable and the contingency, which is temporarily stabilized and under multiple relationships. Based on the theoretical contributions of the studies on Science, Technology and Society (CTS), we tracked down the actors that have assembled to produce precariousness as a daily condition in sugarcane agricultural workers in the geographic area of the Valle del Río Cauca in Colombia. From ethnographic elements we describe how these socio-technical entities sustain political, social, economic and subjective effects that recreate the precarious condition and establish diverse practices that account for a daily life.

Palavras-chave : agriculture; assembly; daily life; network-actor theory; precariousness.
