HERRERA, Pablo et al. Categorizing implicative dilemmas in patients with anxiety disorder: A study using the Kelly Grid technique. Psicoperspectivas [online]. 2014, vol.13, n.1, pp.82-93. ISSN 0718-6924. http://dx.doi.org/10.5027/psicoperspectivas-Vol13-Issue1-fulltext-248.
The Kelly Grid technique has been widely used to explore the subjectivity of different populations. However, researchers have typically neglected the analysis of the content of a patient’s constructs and dilemmas. Although researchers have indeed created and used content classification systems, they tend to be limited. This article presents the SCCP-TC, an adaptation of SCCP that uses categories of OPD, the Operationalized Psychodynamic Psych diagnostic system. We designed SCCP-TC to analyze clinically relevant information and to elaborate a therapeutic focus to work in psychotherapy. We present a classification of 11 clinical topics and apply it to a sample of 81 adults to compare patients with anxiety against a control group.
