PASCUAL, Daniel et al. CERAMIC QUEROS AND THE PRESENCE OF TAWANTINSUYU IN THE ACONCAGUA AND MAPOCHO BASINS, SOUTHERN END OF COLLASUYU. Bol. Mus. Chil. Arte Precolomb. [online]. 2018, vol.23, n.1, pp.117-131. ISSN 0718-6894.

This paper argues the political and social implications of the queros presence in the Aconcagua and Mapocho river basins, Central Chile. Formal, iconographic and contextual features are described regarding three queros-type pieces, the only ones of this sort of material found complete in Central Chile so far. These results and the addition of contextual information from both zones suggest that Inka people developed different strategies of interaction with local communities in each area.

Keywords : Collasuyu; Queros; Interaction Strategies; Acon cagua Valley; Mapocho Basin.
