This article describes an experience in which we implemented the concept of transversality at university level, more particularly in two subjects from the Bachelor of Arts degree in French as a Foreign Language Didactics from the University of Guadalajara. The experience took place in a group of students from the fourth semester of the aforementioned BA program. Students have a B2 level of the French language according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The aim of this article is to present the results of this experience. In the first section of the text, we explain the concept of transversality at university level. In the methodology section, we describe the context where this experience took place and the methodological process of the experience. Then, we present the results of this intervention. Finally, conclusions are drawn. The originality of this study lies in the fact that two subjects that seem distant, since they belong to two different axes of the curriculum, find intersection points from which transversal competences are promoted. With this research, we contribute to the studies of the foreign language didactics, more particularly to those focused on French as a foreign language (FFL).
