The aim of this study was to evalúate the relationship between health-related quality of life and the social functional support in 50 patients of both genders with diagnosis of FflV/AIDS of the city of Medellín, Colombia. The questionnaires were in use: MOS-SF-30 that measures Quality of Life and the DUKE-UNK that it evaluates Social Functional Support. The results evidenced a quality of life good in all the subscale of MOS-SF-30 except for the subscale of Uneasiness regarding the health. Of another side it was high levéis of social support. Finally, all the study had internal high consistency, with superior Crobach's alpha to 0.7.
