The theoretical way in which the majority doctrine addresses the control of conventionality, could be significantly modified if one takes into account the real level of compliance with the judgments in which the Inter-American Court has ordered to carry out. The present work analyzes this data, almost always omitted, and incorporates it into the doctrine of conventionality control, to try to determine if such control is viable in practice. The above, given the leading role assigned to the Court for its proper functioning.
