Resumen

OLIVA, Carolina  y  HIDALGO, Carmen Gloria. User Satisfaction: A Quality Indicator of the Family Health Model, Evaluated in an Intervention Program with Families in Biopsychosocial Risk, in Primary Care Health. Psykhe [online]. 2004, vol.13, n.2, pp.173-186. ISSN 0718-2228.  http://dx.doi.org/10.4067/S0718-22282004000200013.

The present article presents the main results of a study that evaluates user's satisfaction of the consultants of an experimental program of Family Health, in primary care health, aimed at families in biopsychosocial risk (PRODEFA II). Through a quantitative analysis a comparison of user satisfaction was made between PRODEFA II users and those attending traditional programs, at the same health center. The groups were compared according to the dimensions of structure, process and results in health care. It was found that users of PRODEFA II evaluated the received attention better than users of traditional programs. The final conclusion is that PRODEFA II, based on a biopsychosocial model of attention, generates more user satisfaction than the tradicional programs based on a biomedical model.
