The use of oriented strand board panel (OSB) in sheathings of structural walls needs that the OSB-timber joints are able to maintain strength enought during their service life. In this work it was determined the lateral load resistance maintained by OSB panel and solid wood nailed joints submitted to an aging test. A comparison was done between the maintained resistance of the evaluated joints and the modulus of rupture (MOR) and modulus of elasticity (MOE) maintained for the OSB panels after the same aging test. In each evaluated property were tested probes with and probes without aging. The aging test selected was the 2 hours boil-1 hour soak aging test. A good behaviour of the nailed joints resistance was observed in both directions of the board. The joints of OSB panels maintained 35 % more resistance than the bending resistance of the OSB panel, both after the same accelerated aging test
