This paper seeks to determine whether the international treaties received within the Chilean legal system modify, or alter, the system of criminal law sources. First, the general problem of the reception of international treaties into Chilean law is discussed. Second, a critical analysis of the sources of criminal law is undertaken, which seeks to articulate a new concept of it.
