The rupture of an abdominal aortic aneurysm is a complication associated with high mortality. In addition, there is an important morbidity in post surgical evolution. We introduce a case of a patient who presents abdominal pain and hypovolemic sock, due to rupture of an abdominal aortic aneurysm with an associated aorto cava fistula, who went to emergency surgery and evolved with many post surgical complications. Epidemiology, natural history, diagnosis and treatment of this pathology are discussed
