Resumen
TAPIA-VILLANUEVA, Luis y MOLINA P, María Elisa. First interview in couple therapy: co-construction of a situated encounter. Rev. chil. neuro-psiquiatr. [online]. 2014, vol.52, n.1, pp.42-52. ISSN 0717-9227. http://dx.doi.org/10.4067/S0717-92272014000100006.
The first interview more than a conversation for information, is an encounter for the purpose of promoting the formation of a therapeutic intersubjective and triadic system. Its focus is the experience lived in that encounter, as a here-now emergency. Building a therapeutic system is to create a link based on empathy and awareness. The encounter deals with important aspects such as the development of a motive of consultation and in conjunction with the couple, the definition of the problem from a relational perspective. This involves identifying interactional patterns, attribution of meanings and emotions associated, unfolding a drama set in an emotional climate. The experiences, lived as problem situations, are brought to an understanding of relational processes and can be understood from dimensions, such as attachment, differentiation, emotional intimacy, passionate love and power. This first meeting is a crucial moment of chronogenesis (co-construction of time in the here and now), a present moment, to reconnect to the past with its difficulties and projected resources and new possible future paths that start at this meeting. What happens in this meeting gravitate sharply in the course of therapy.
