Background. According to Heidegger in a work of art, truth is at work, sc. comes-to-pass the opening-up, sc. the revealing of beings. Objective. Its task is to examine what triumph, guilt and death are by reason of Ingmar Bergman's depiction of them. Method. To study Ingmar Bergman's classic film "Wild strawberries". As this masterpiece unfolds, through an analysis of a dream, we come to know and understand triumph, guilt and death with a penetrating insight. Results. Trigger decoding method enables us to discover the emotional conflicts and interpersonal problems that are disturbing and how best to solve these problems. The motion picture involves an anthropology, for it explains the very ontological nature of the structure of man as unto-an-end, sc. finite. Conclusions. The dream has a place in contemporary psychiatry that is not entirely clear. In Ingmar Bergman's "Wild strawberries", free associations to dream images were used as guides to the discovery of triumph, guilt and death as playing a major role in our existence
