HOLZER, Jorge. Leak Point Pressure in Patients with Myelomeningocele. Rev. chil. neuro-psiquiatr. [online]. 2001, vol.39, n.2, pp.155-157. ISSN 0717-9227. http://dx.doi.org/10.4067/S0717-92272001000200008.
Ten children with myelomeningocele were evaluated using leak point pressure methodology. The lowest bladder pressure at which leakage occurred passively around the catheter was designated as the leak point pressure. The mean leak point pressure was 30.4 cmH20. In two patients, the pressure was higher than 40 cmH20. The mean volume for leak point pressure was 180 cc. None of the patients exhibited any discomfort during the procedure and there were no complications afterwards
