To analyze 100 samples, 50 American lettuce (AL) and 50 Roman lettuce (RL) cultivation in three different town of Venezuela: , Timotes and Bailadores (Mérida State) & Chejendé (Trujillo State) and marketable in fourth markets of Lara State: Terepaima, Cabudare, Trinitarias and Central. The lettuce was processing by Alvarez et al., modify technical. Detect contamination in 29% of the samples (16 AL and 13 RL) detect enteric parasites, Strongyloides sp. (16); Ancylostoma sp. (5); Entamoeba histolytica (5); Entamoeba coli (5); oocysts of Toxoplasma gondii (4); Toxocara sp. (1); Blastocystis hominis (1) and Endolimax nana (1). The American lettuce was they most contaminate with 32% of samples, Chejendé was the town where had most abundance of enteric parasites with 40% of the samples analyze
