Abstract

We present the technological analysis performed of a fishtail points assemblage registered in archaeological sites located around the De Las Vacas Lagoon, in Somuncurá Plateau (Río Negro Province, Argentina). We compare raw materials use and some technological attributes of these artifacts. Finally we discuss the analyzed variables in relation with the production and discard of fishtail points in this northpatagonian space.
