The archaeological place Caverna Piuquenes is situated in Saladillo, Los Andes, cordillera Central Andina of Chile. The results of the analysis of stratigraphy, lithology, chronology, archaeology, archaeobotany, zooarchaeology contribute to the reconstruction of the paleoenvironment and the prevailing ecological conditions. The result of our study are described and presented in a graph with the purpose of facilitating their interpretation. In this work we demonstrate the relationships between the natural environment and the cultural development of groups of archaic hunters gatherers of Caverna Piuquenes
