REINA GUTIERREZ, Giovanni. NARRATOR WHAT IS AND WHY CHARLES BAUDELAIRE IS ONE. A REFLECTION BASED ON WALTER BENJAMIN'S THOUGHT. Acta lit. [online]. 2020, n.60, pp.95-109. ISSN 0717-6848. http://dx.doi.org/10.29393/al60-5qngr10005.
Abstract: The art of the narrator is inserted in the need to produce knowledge, or at least to maintain it in a form of circulation. For Walter Benjamin the narrator is a figure that modernity with all its separation from the world and its experiences was able to cast it into oblivion. The massification and the individualization of the individual at the same time, make this to be diluted or isolated from the production of knowledge, and the experience that this implies. Perhaps with Charles Baudelaire you can rethink the way of narrating without give oneself upon modernity's tricks.
