Resumen

HACHIM LARA, Luis. ¿Por qué volver a los textos coloniales?: Herencias y coherencias del pensamiento americano en el discurso colonial. Lit. lingüíst. [online]. 2006, n.17, pp.15-28. ISSN 0716-5811.  http://dx.doi.org/10.4067/S0716-58112006000100002.

This article suggests a reflection about colonial texts, debating over critical discourse that holds on to post modern, post colonial and post eastern perspectives that, in most cases, leave out the epistemological consequences involving those "tool boxes". However, in this apparent and suspicious free will, neither have these critics included the post western proposal, which, according to Roberto Fernandez Retamar, Walter Mignolo and Fernando Coronil, "finds its "natural habitat in the journey of Latin American thought". Along with the problem statement, the author puts forward " a research program" that justifies not only "going back to colonial texts", but also to the design of a new study platform that includes, as a principle, the theoretical production of Anibal Quijano, Enrique Dussel, and Walter Mignolo, as a procedure paradigm that would yield an epistemological sustainability to colonial text research, within the area of thought discourse production and American history

Palabras clave : Colonial studies; Latin American Critical and Literary Thought.
