The literature has different instances in its development, marked by the emergency of diverse programs aesthetic where try to change the literary tradition. In Latinamérica, the processes of change it’s associated to the movement of the vanguards, where writers of diverse countries generated new languages that manifested their critical vision of the society and the potential value of the art like their agent transformer. Then, the purpose of this work consist in to examine that happened in Mexico, considering two moments of the vanguard -including the Octavio Paz case-, moments that have like previous support the legacy of the modernist tradition, understood like a "prefigure" of the vanguard movement
