RODRIGUEZ DIEZ, Javier Esteban. The teaching sequence of the Digest: de iudiciis and de rebus. Rev. estud. hist.-juríd. [online]. 2020, n.42, pp.167-191. ISSN 0716-5455.  http://dx.doi.org/10.4067/S0716-54552020000100167.

This article analyses the description offered by Omnem of the second and third years of law school after Justinian’s reform, and specifically the issue of the sequence in which de iudiciis y de rebus were taught. The traditional views are critically revised, showing that, most likely, titles from both parts were taught each year. In particular, the description of the old legal curriculum and the sequence of titles of the Codex Iustinianus offer valuable clues, which contribute in turn to shed light on problems of legal education and systematization at the time of Justinian.
