Abstract

MENNICKENT, S.; VEGA, M.; GODOY, C.G.  and  YATES, T.. DESARROLLO DE UN METODO POR CROMATOGRAFIA EN CAPA FINA INSTRUMENTAL PARA ANALISIS CUANTITATIVO DE ACIDO ACETILSALICILICO. Bol. Soc. Chil. Quím. [online]. 2000, vol.45, n.4, pp.615-620. ISSN 0366-1644.  http://dx.doi.org/10.4067/S0366-16442000000400015.

A High Performance Thin Layer Chromatography (HPTLC) method was developed and validated to determine quantitatively acetylsalicylic acid. The results proved that the method is linear between 100 and 600 ng/spot, with repeatability (RSD = 2,1-3,5%), reproducible (RSD = 4,8-6,0%), accurate (99%) and selective for tested sustance. In conclusion, it is an adequate method for its quantitative analyses.

Keywords : HPTLC (High performance thin layer chromatography); quantitative analysis; acetylsalicylic acid; validation; drugs.
