Veritas, Journal of Philosophy and Theology was founded in 1994 by the Pontifical Major Seminary San Rafael de Valparaíso (Chile). Starting in 2017, it is a quarterly publication (April, August and December). The usual language of the journal is Spanish, although the possibility to publish articles in other languages, such as English, French, Italian or Portuguese is open.

Veritas aims to disseminate the results of research in the different areas of Philosophy and Theology to academics and students of the Seminar, as well as other ecclesiastical and university institutions, both national and foreign. Thus, and from its Catholic identity, it intends to carry out a current contribution and academic rigor that promotes reflection, dialogue and open debate within the framework of the pluralism that characterizes our contemporary culture.

The intellectual property belongs to the authors articles and editing and publishing rights to Veritas.
