Basic information

Si Somos Americanos, Revista de Estudios Transfronterizos, is a biannual publication published by the Instituto de Estudios Internacionales at the Universidad Arturo Prat (Chile). The journal’s main objective is to present the results of scientific research on issues of regional development and integration, cross-border relations and international studies from an interdisciplinary and pluralistic perspective.

It began its edition in 1996, with an annual frequency. From 2005 the periodicity was modified, and it began to be published semiannually.

From volume 18 number 1 of 2018, the magazine is only published in electronic version, on the website www.sisomosamericanos.cl, supported on the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform.
