Resumen

PREVOT, Juan Manuel. THE PROBLEM OF CAUSATION IN THE LAW OF CIVIL LIABILITY. RChDP [online]. 2010, n.15, pp.143-178. ISSN 0718-8072.  http://dx.doi.org/10.4067/S0718-80722010000200005.

From both the theoretical and practical perspectives, causation is undoubtedly the thorniest and perhaps least-addressed issue in civil liability law. Convoluted, difficult, complex, turbulent, insoluble, distressing, multifaceted, enigmatic and ambiguous are some of the features (or adjectíves) that commonly identify the qualities (abstract) attributed to causality (as noun). Nevertheless, the distinction between causality and objective imputätion has re-emerged with considerable fanfare in recent years in Criminal Law, providing a breath of fresh air well worth examining.

Palabras clave : causality; authorship; length of recovery.
