In spite of the long period of time in which liberal professionals were protected by certain immunity, recently there have been numerous judicial decisions, which allowing that lawyer's civil responsibility, evidence that lawyers are no longer untouchable. Although we mention many analytical aspects in this article, the detailed study of the damages that the negligent lawyer can provoke stands out in the analysis. More precisely, we focus on the type of damage known as "loss of a chance". The following pages are focused on the study of this complex matter.
