FAUNDEZ, Claudio A; BRAVO, Alicia A; RAMIREZ, Glenda P  e  ASTUDILLO, Hernán F. Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) for Teaching and Learning of Thermodynamic Concepts as a tool for Future Teachers. Form. Univ. [online]. 2017, vol.10, n.4, pp.43-54. ISSN 0718-5006.  http://dx.doi.org/10.4067/S0718-50062017000400005.

This article presents a constructivist didactic proposal that incorporates information and communication technologies (ICT) in the teaching of thermodynamic concepts. University students explored and analyzed ICT tools to motivate secondary students in the acquisition of significant concepts, linked to thermodynamic subjects. The proposal was designed by university students and tested both in college-level courses and secondary school courses during the years 2014 and 2015. The results show an increase in students' performance and conceptual gain, observed in the higher average of the scores obtained, the statistical indicator "g" by Hake and the statistical tests t-student and Tukey. The incorporation of ICT, as an educational tool for university students, shows to be relevant in their training process. With the use of these tools they develop better skills and attitudes to face their future work, contributing to improving the quality of education.
