This work is aimed at describing and classifying a set of verbal idioms with a structure that includes two clitic pronoun sets, by using a grammatically-oriented perspective. The idioms have been collected from the lexicographical corpus of the macro research project "Diccionario descriptivo del español del Valle de Aburrá", which is being developed since 2005. After defining the theoretical concept of idiom, which is a phraseological unit and a sentence constituent, we present an analysis of the structure of this type of lexical units in relation to several grammatical aspects (form and function of clitics, verb subcategorization, verb and idiom argument and adjuncts).
