In August 26^th 1767, in the episcopate of Concepción (Chile), the decree of asylum that established the expulsion of the controls of Spanish king to the members of Compañia de Jesus that had been established there since 1612 was approved. The inventories that the authorities ask for can determine, with an interesting level of detail: the area and condition of the property, kind and condition of the installations, kinds and levels of production, kind and amount of tools and utensils, kind and condition of labour associated and services given at the moment of asylum. This helped to give the real meaning achieved, on this, the commented “former ancient Jesuits wealth”. The study refers specially to the bishops San Bartolomé de Chillán y Buena Esperanza Jesuit school between 1612 and 1767
