This article analyzes the magazine América Latina of Moscow and understood it as a typical product of the Cold War, paying special attention to the intellectuals Latin Americans that collaborated with the magazine and to the discourse about the global political contingency that they produce. Demonstrates how the condemnation to the American imperialism and the exaltation of the Soviet pacifism are the central ideas of this discourse.
