This paper focuses the evolution of wine industry in Partido del Maule, Chile's Kingdom, between 1700 and 1750. The research work was made since viticulturist testaments to create the different categories of grape growers and wine makers. At that time, the most important economic activity in the region was cattle (66%), slaves (12%) and wine industry (12%)
