Abstract
POBLETE ALDAY, Patricia. El hombre, ese fantasma: el yo como otredad en la narrativa de Roberto Bolaño. Universum [online]. 2004, vol.19, n.2, pp. 186-197. ISSN 0718-2376. doi: 10.4067/S0718-23762004000200015.
In this work we analyze the character's profile in the chilean writer Roberto Bolaño's books. With this we want to propose a general typology in his literature, which is clearly part of the postmodern times and its existencial conditions. These conditions make possible the actual dissolution not just of the human certains, but the own personality. This work uses history and literary theory's tesis, and also uses theories which come from the cultural anthropology, the social psychoanalysis, sociology and religion's history. The Gilbert Durand's Mythcriticism makes a good synthesis of all these disciplines and methodological perspectives.
Keywords : Chilean Literature; Latin; American Literature; Roberto Bolaño.
