ESTUPINAN P, Edgar; SAN MARTIN, César y SOLALIGUE M, Rene. DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF A VIRTUAL ANALYZER OF MECHANICAL VIBRATIONS. Rev. Fac. Ing. - Univ. Tarapacá [online]. 2006, vol.14, n.1, pp. 7-15. ISSN 0718-1337. doi: 10.4067/S0718-13372006000100002.
The development of electronics devices and computing has satisfactorily contributed to the development of new signal analysis techniques applied to the processing of vibratory signals. The high price of commercial instruments like vibration collectors and analyzers and their closed architecture have made necessary to look for new alternatives. Data acquisition systems are a powerful tool for developing more economic and versatile instruments. In this paper a design and implementation of a virtual vibration analyzer of dual channel is presented, which was developed using LabVIEW. In this analyzer, several signal analysis techniques for diagnosis and analysis of faults of rotative machines have been included as well as the option of its remote control via Internet or Intranet.
