CAAMANO ROJO, Eduardo. Conciliation between labor and family life. An analysis from perspective of Chilean labor law. Rev. derecho (Valdivia) [online]. 2004, vol.16, pp. 59-82. ISSN 0718-0950.

The increasing incorporation of women to the labor field, without resigning to the obligations usually assigned to them, has produced a constant tension between her labor and family duties, which, in turn, has generated the need to revise many of the traditional institutions of Labor Law -such as regulations on daily work or maternity leave- in order to progress towards a fairer distribution of the roles of the working parents that contributes to generate a change in our labor market in order to effectively enforce the equality of opportunities between men and women.

Palabras clave : labor and family life; equality of opportunities; discrimination.
