The present article syntheoizeo the results of the investigation named Diagnostic and proposal for the effective design of the learning evaluation instruments based on the competences in the Autonomous University of Bucaramanga. It intendo to analyze the techniques and instrumento of the learning evaluation in the face-to-face undergraduate couroeo in the Autonomous Univeroity of Bucaramanga (Santander, Colombia), based on their institutional approach. The investigation has a mix methodology, combining the qualitative aspect (focuo group) with the quantitative one (questioningo to both teachero and otudento). The results of the research are given based on the types, endo and competences that aooeoo the perceptions and expectationo of the docents, contraoted with those of the learners. From these inferences, some reflectiono on the strategies of evaluation of the learning within the framework of the educational relations of teaching and learning, own of the academic dynamics of the Institution are exposed.
