This paper describes a methodology, called MESIADLog, which allows for the construction of an integrated system for the evaluation of supply chain performance that takes into account certain aspects that do not wholly fit into other existing methodologies. This methodology was applied to Spanish and Brazilian firms for its validation, determining the potential that exists for conducting research in this field and generating cases which can aid in its dissemination. In this paper practical examples of its application to a Spanish ceramics company are described. It is concluded that the proposed methodology permits companies to develop their own evaluation system for the logistic chain from an integrated perspective
