ROSAS, Ricardo; PEREZ-SALAS, Claudia P y OLGUIN, Polín. Enhancing motivated learning in cerebral palsied children through interactive whiteboards. Estud. pedagóg. [online]. 2010, vol.36, n.1, pp. 191-209. ISSN 0718-0705. doi: 10.4067/S0718-07052010000100011.
This article shows the results of an intervention whose main objective was to enhance learning motivation and self efficacy in children with cerebral palsy attending to special education. The program included 32 students from 6 to 21 years old who participated in weekly educative sessions. These sessions incorporated learning activities using software and hardware supports that addressed their curriculum content in a playful and collaborative way. Each interactive session was recorded and compared with regular classes showing an increase in students motivation and enjoyment of lessons. Moreover, children and teachers interviews indicate a positive evaluation of the intervention results in terms of their impact in the group interaction, motivation and learning self efficacy.
