DEVES-VALDES, Eduardo. Recepción y reelaboración del pensamiento económico-social chileno y latinoamericano en Tanzania, 1965-1985: su proceso de africanización. Atenea (Concepc.) [online]. 2005, n.492, pp. 45-68. ISSN 0718-0462. http://dx.doi.org/10.4067/S0718-04622005000200004.
Tanzania is the African country which has had the greatest presence of Latin American social and economic thought in terms relative to the dimension of its intellectuality. Taking this into account raises questions such as: what type of influence did this thought exercise in Tanzania? and, what reelaborations were realized there? This article specifically intends to answer 4 objectives: determine the Latin American authors who were read; detect the texts and ideas that were taken from them; discover which other authors and ideas were hybridized with those coming from Latin America and determine what themes or problems were suggested or resolved with these reelaborations. Julius Nyerere, Justinian Rweyemamu and Walter Rodney are the principal authors analyzed
