This article is an analysis of comparative procedural constitutional law of the mexican constitutional "amparo" action, and the Chilean constitutional protection action, noting the similarities and differences existing between these institutions in both Latin-American countries, and the necessity of the regulation by law of the constitutional protection action, as is the general rule in comparative law.
