Macromonomers from 2-oxazoline derivates were synthesized by using 2,2'-iminediethanol and 1-(2-hydroxyethyl) piperazine as terminating agents. The macromonomers are soluble in water and in common organic solvents like chloroform, methanol, and tetrahydrofuran. They were characterized by FT-IR, 1H-NMR , and 13C-NMR spectroscopies.
