Muscles of the thoracic limb of Puma (Puma concolor) are described. With this purpose a dissection of two adult pumas , obteined from the SAG and the metropolitan zoological garden and gifted to both University Santo Tomas and University of. Chile respectivily. The carcasses were fixed with anatomical traditional methods, and carrying out the dissection of the thoracic members. Our observation show that these muscles are the same described for other felines like the domestic cat, being the developmental muscle grade the parameter of variability between both species . Aditionally, description in classic text of palmar longus muscles correspond in the puma to the flexor digital superficial muscles
