We report a third case of subcapsular hematoma liver rupture, in a 36 weeks pregnant patient, who present a Hellp syndrome. Since march, 1991 to september, 2002 there was a total of 85.791 deliveries, with 3 cases of subcapsular hematoma liver rupture, wich give an incidence of 1 of 28.597 deliveries. No maternal mortality was seen, but only 1 newborn survive
