In thefollowmg paper, wepresent results obtainedfrom archaeological excavations ofthe site LV099-B "Fundo Agua Amarilla", this site is located in the Agua Amarilla sector o/Los Vilos county. The analysis ofrecovered materials in addition to the contextualization ofthe site through information obtainedfromprevious investigations in the área, new results from other sectors ofthe Choapa coast, and the propasáis outlined for the innerterritori.es ofthis región, allow a deeper discussion of Inca period occupations in the Los Vilos área and their relations with the social and historical processes involved in this epoch ofthe local prehispanic history.
