In this paper are presented the results of the cranial analysis of the Max Uhle collection. Undertaken were analyses of trauma, infection, pathology, nutrition and skull deformation by sex and age. The material comes from the Morro de Arica site and it is associated with the Chinchorro cultural complex dating to 3550 and 3220 years B.P. The collection represents a biologically homogeneous population, with strong sexual dimorphism and overall good osteological health, despite the presence of porotic hyperostosis in children and adults. Both sexes were equally affected by pathologies and trauma. We highlight the presence of external auditory exostosis and interpersonal violence in both sexes, starting at a young age

Palabras clave : Chinchorro Culture; porotic pyperostosis; auditory exostosis.
