CLUSELLAS, Mariano y O'CONNOR, Cristián. Casa MCMC: Buenos Aires, Argentina. ARQ (Santiago) [online]. 2010, n.75, pp. 44-45. ISSN 0717-6996. http://dx.doi.org/10.4067/S0717-69962010000200009.
In a low-rise residential neighborhood on a small site, this house stands surrounded by walls and is oriented towards the idea of reclaiming public space. Articulating its street-facing facade and its interior patio it seeks to maintain privacy and views. The house is elevated 5 steps above the street to level the living-dining-kitchen with the interior garden and patio over the street. In this way the first floor is free along its length and width. The following floors articulate the same idea by means of movable divisions that open and close the spaces.
Palabras llave : Architecture-Argentina; single family dwelling; house between dividing walls; reinforced concrete.
